Guided fly fishing trips can escape to numerous trout streams in the area, including Big Snowbird Creek, famous for browns and brooks (known locally as speckled trout), Slickrock Creek, known for its browns and rainbows and "specks". Big Santeetlah Creek is another local stream that is well known for its challenging big brown trout. Other trips include the headwaters of the Nantahala River in Swain/Macon Counties, and trips to Hazel and Eagle Creeks in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Some of these streams are catch and release only, so we'll be sure that you are aware of local fishing regulations before you go.

Guided trout fishing is available twelve months out of the year. All hatchery supported trout streams in North Carolina close in March every year.
